Maple Bowl with Texture

This bowl was donated to our church for a benifit auction.  The Texture was done with a shop made texturing tool.

Elm Bowl

This bowl was turned another piece of the same crotch as the bowl to the right.  Approximately 9 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches high.  This bowl was given to the neighbors that the log came from/

Elm Crotch Bowl

The bowl in these two images is from a crotch of an elm tree that the neighbors cut down.  It was a challenge to turn because of the voids and cracks. The bowl is approximately 10 inches in diameter and 7 inches high.


Walnut Bowl

Walnut bowl approximately 7 inches in diameter and 3 inches high.  Finish is 1 layer of sanding sealer and 4 layers of Arm-R-Seal

Small Spalted Hackberry Bowls

Small spalted hackberry bowls. Given to some of my go workers before I retired.  They are approximately 4 inches in diameter and 2 inches high with Arm-R-Seal finish.

Walnut Bowl

Walnut bowl, approximately 10 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall.

Elm Bowl with Edge Treatment

Elm bowl approximately 9 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches high, with inlay of filings from a key cutting machine on the top edge.

I made 3 bowls  in 2007 from a slab of walnut given to me by my father-in-law, AB Voet, in 1976. I gave them to  my 3 children as gifts.

Walnut Hollow Form

6" wide and 3" wide with natural edge and bark.  Turned with Version 1 hollowing rig

Maple Bowl

10" wide and 3" high with great figure and bark inclusion.

Paper Clip Dishes

Wallnut and Burr Oak dishes with a small magnet in the center.  These were given to the secretaries that I worked with before I retired.
